Your images stay on your device
The image files you load into StackSVG are processed entirely in your browser by a Web Worker. They are never uploaded to any server, ours or anyone else's. This is the core design of the tool, not a setting. Your pictures and the cut files you generate stay with you.
What we do collect
- Your account email, used to sign you in. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Subscription and payment data, handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Standard hosting and server logs, such as IP address and request metadata, used to operate and secure the service.
Processors we use
We rely on a small number of service providers to run StackSVG:
- Google Firebase, for authentication, database, and hosting.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces. Your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch the font files. Google Fonts sets no cookies.
Each of these providers handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in across sessions and to remember your email address for the sign in link. We do not use them for advertising.
How we use your data
We use the limited data we collect to run your account, process your subscription, and operate and secure the service. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your rights
You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, request an export of it, or request that we delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact support@stacksvg.com.
Data retention
We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When you delete your account, we remove the data we no longer need to retain.
Children
StackSVG is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@stacksvg.com and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, give notice through the service.
