Enclosed detail stays attached by a thin tab.

Smallest detail: 10mm²

Real size on the finished piece. An enclosed region smaller than this merges into the opening; at or above it, it is a real island and follows the rule above.

Sheet shape

Every sheet is the full rectangle.

Layer step: off

Steps each sheet in from the one below it by this real distance, so the solid base is always the largest and every layer shows a rim.

Stack order

Depth follows the picture: whatever surrounds a shape sits in front of it, so every enclosed detail cuts through and shows its color from a deeper sheet. A trapped region that cannot go deeper gets its own extra sheet of the same color near the base.

Smoothing: 1.5

Rounds traced pixel edges into smooth cut curves. Higher means simpler, rounder paths.

Opening width: auto

Widens each opening slightly under the sheet above it, so glue seams stay hidden. Invisible in the assembled piece. Auto fits the art (color designs need less); any style preset restores auto.

Detail mode

Picks Relief for grayscale subjects and Color for colorful art.

Denoise: 2

Cleans speckle before slicing, so photo noise does not become tiny stray cuts. Lower it for crisp vector art.
